Serenity - The Shepherd’s Tale Graphic Novel I had to finish the last one off tonight as I’ve just read the first two. The Shepherd’s Tale is a fascinating and decidely darker tale than most of the Serenity tales. It tells of the young boy who ran away from his abusive father to become a petty crook, member of the Independence Movement, Mole, Alliance Commander, Shepherd and part of the the Serenity ragtag gang of wonderful characters. Moving and provocative in a ways, different to much that has come before, but still shiny and essential reading for any Firefly fan
